This is not a government office or records custodian. Lincoln Residents Directory is privately operated. It cannot pull records, certify copies, confirm who lives at an address, or remove a name from a government roll. Send those requests to the office that keeps the record. For an emergency call 911. If you believe you are being stalked or harassed, contact local police.
Find the Right Records Office
The quickest route depends on what the record is meant to show. A street question starts with the parcel map and assessment key. An old household question starts with directories, archives, and census material. A court, vital, voter, license, or deed request must go to its own custodian.
- Current address or owner: use the Lincoln by-street records workflow.
- Older volumes and past households: use the Lincoln city-directories collections.
- One name to verify: use the Lincoln resident lookup process.
- ZIP geography: use the ZIP directory page and verify a mailing address with USPS.
- Records not online: make a specific request under the California Public Records Act to the custodian named by the relevant agency.

Lincoln's City Clerk accepts public-record requests through the City's online channel, by email, in person, or by phone. Give the office a date range, address or APN, record class, and names or other identifying details. The City page warns that reproduction charges may apply to large responses and media or postage. For a specific deed, use the Recorder's statutory copy process instead of asking City Hall to recreate a title search.
